
Engineer (Pre-sales)

We are looking for a talented and dynamic member to join our family as a Pre-Sales Engineer. This is an important and crucial role within our team in Singapore as it acts as a pillar of support to our business development team. Guidance will be provided by a senior colleague.
- Undertake the role of a liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders on technical issues, e.g. specification, drawing and costing.
- Plan and manage the sourcing and selection of suppliers for procurement of products/materials. This will involve an initial supplier survey, qualification and risk assessment of new suppliers.
- Proper storage and filing of information gathered into central database.
- Perform tender compliance by working closely with vendors and extracting information from central database.
- Attend sales kick-off meetings and ensure that materials are procured accurately according to the customer’s requirements.
- Issuance of purchase ordersinvoices and verify supplier invoice for payment.
- Conducting pre-delivery inspections once production is completed.
- Proper handover to logistics department to execute delivery in a timely manner.
**Job Requirement**:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics preferred) will be an added bonus.
- Strong analytical skills accompanied by attention to details. Persons that can read numbers and translate them into strategy.
- Can-do attitude and goal-oriented. Passionate to learn and discover new techniques and tools to stand out in the fast-growing competitive environment.
- MUST be able to converse in Mandarin and English
**Working Location and Hours**:
- Ubi (5 mins walk from Ubi Mrt Station)
- 5-Day Work Week
- Monday to Friday - 9.00am to 6.30pm
