**What the role is**
- To develop and review manpower policies (resourcing and retention) for healthcare professionals (doctors, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, allied health professionals) and other public healthcare staff to ensure adequate and qualified manpower for the public acute healthcare sector in Singapore.
You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

**What you will be working on**
- Work with the professional divisions and stakeholders in the healthcare sector to:

- Oversee the implementation of manpower initiatives to facilitate resourcing of healthcare professionals in the public acute healthcare sector
- Oversee the development and implementation of strategies to facilitate resourcing of new institutions (e.g. NCID, WHC, other new public healthcare institutions on the horizon)

Work with the professional divisions, external agencies (e.g. MOM, NPTD) and stakeholders (e.g. clusters and union) in the healthcare sector to:

- Conceptualise and review manpower and HR initiatives (rewards, well-being, career) to support the retention of healthcare staff in the public acute healthcare sector
- Oversee the annual salary benchmarking exercise to maintain competitiveness of public acute healthcare staff salaries
- Oversee the development and implementation of strategies to encourage and facilitate training and in-service professional upgrading of healthcare staff in the public acute healthcare sector
- Oversee the review and implementation of re-employment initiatives for trained and elderly
- Oversee the collection, management and analysis of public acute healthcare manpower data to:

- Provide regular reports monitoring the healthcare manpower trends
- Provide quantitative analytics to support the development of manpower policies e.g. retention and localisation
