Manager, Finance Business Partner

The Finance Business Partner (FBP) plays an instrumental role in establishing finance business partnership with stakeholders in University’s unit or group of University’s units. The partnership is vital to enable and ensure effective finance planning, reporting and operations in alignment with University’s policies and guidelines.
The role has a primary reporting line into the Office of Finance and a secondary reporting line into the University’s unit.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage all aspects of the local unit’s budgeting, planning and forecasting activities- Prepare budget templates and ensure timely submission of budget data- Monitor budget execution and utilization. Perform evaluation on budget utilization and performance to facilitate decision making over prioritization and strategy- Conduct decision-support analyses that provides real-time and accurate financial information draws insights from such analyses to make recommendations to the local unit’s Management team, as well as relevant finance stakeholders- Manage budget appeal, budget virement and other budget matters- FBP is stationed in school assigned
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent professional qualifications- Chartered Accountant with at least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience- Highly adaptable, good time management skills & problem-solving skills- Demonstrate outstanding working relation management- Advantageous to know SAP, Concur, Ariba
