**WHAT’S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?**
Reporting into the SVP Sales APAC, the Business Development Director, SEA is responsible for achieving revenue targets through the distribution of Stats Perform content products and the management of key client relationships to identify new business, appropriate up-sells and renewals with the South East Asia region.
Initially, the key challenge for this role will be deeply understanding Stats Perform products and their benefits for clients and industry sectors. Eventually, the key challenge for this role is to balance the day-to-day aspects of the job (such as client queries, preparing sales proposals, and working closely with internal stakeholders) with the continuing need to focus on winning new business.
This role will work closely with the SVP Sales, APAC and with other members of Stats Perform APAC commercial team.
**RESPONSIBILITIES - HERE’S YOUR ROLE BROKEN DOWN**
**Client Relationship Management**
- Consistently achieve revenue targets through retention, expansion and growth of clients
- Maintain comprehensive account plans including strategies to expand contacts, penetrate into green space of accounts and develop new business opportunities
- Manage day to day activity with clients, partnering with Stats Perform team members to ensure the effective implementation and integration of software and solutions
- Utilize stakeholder management strategies, and develop winning value propositions for products and services that align to account priorities
- Establish and develop relationships with key executive influencers to anticipate key developments and provide relevant solutions
- Ensure high post-sales customer satisfaction with a proactive service strategy that enables repeat business and value realization
- Demonstrate an ability to effectively forecast and manage a pipeline
**DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS?**
- Expertise in revenue generation & account management in a commercial sales role (min 5 years). Digital Media and Business Development experience in sport will be viewed favourably
- Experience managing a sales pipeline with demonstrable strategies employed to deliver success
- Solid understanding of digital media players, their commercial models and revenue drivers
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise own activity and influence the activity of others to meet deadlines
- Strong proficiency using Microsoft suite of software and internet research tools to drive business outcomes
- Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as required
- Some flexibility with working hours as required
- Proven strategic acumen and demonstrable track record in delivery
- Sales track record and exceptional relationship building skills
