**Position Summary**

The Blockchain DeFi Researcher will be working with one of our projects and will aim to identify upcoming opportunities in the blockchain and Defi space. This individual will be responsible for conducting due diligence, analysis, and investment recommendations to the stakeholders of the business regarding new opportunities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Research, analyze and conduct in-depth study on new opportunities in the blockchain and Defi ecosystem
- Conduct technical due diligence of blockchain projects, including assessing code quality and performing reviews of smart contract, and system design
- Formulate investment views and prepare materials, including multi-angle financial model related to recommendations and other thematic discussion topics
- Establish and build relationships with potential partners
- Be involved in the global blockchain community

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science-related discipline
- Min 1-2 years of relevant experience in venture capital, FinTech, crypto or banking
- Experience working with large codebases
- Experience working with open-source projects
- Passion for the crypto industry, blockchain and Defi space and having an informed view on emerging technology trends, opportunities, risks and new projects
- Strong software development background
- Strong knowledge of blockchains
- Proficiency in one of the following languages: Solidity, Python, C++
- Have a strong analytical and technical skillset
- Highly self-driven, resourceful and organized
- The ability to think strategically and critically and act independently is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
