The Production Planning Specialist is responsible for planning and preparing of overall production schedules. To provide standardized services, he/she must be responsive and customer oriented to meet demand fulfillment. He/She must maintain close alignment with supply chain counterparts in headquarter (HQ). To ensure production continuity, raw material supply management is also part of his/her responsibility, to work closely with inter-department to ensure that there are sufficient supplies availabilities. To maintain cost effectiveness, he/she tracks and controls inventory of all materials within the entire manufacturing site, providing timely feedback to inter department as required.

**Your Responsibilities**

**Production Planning responsibilities**:

- Translating demand requirement to daily production planning & prioritization, escalation when there is risk to fulfill.
- Determine production loading plan based on demand requirement, breakdown into the required variants and convert planned order into production order.
- Perform production reporting in SAP and planning systems (WayRTS).
- According to planning parameters influence to demand and supply requirements, perform SAP master data maintenance of to optimize planning outputs and efficiency.
- Track and monitor production performance by tracking key performance indicator (KPIs), such as output, lead time, aging and WIP status.

**Demand & Supply Management**:

- Maintain close collaboration with inter department such as production, quality, engineering, purchasing, logistic, supplier, etc. to ensure customers’ requirements are met in timely and efficient manner.
- Generate MRP in SAP based on demand and capacity planning.
- Determine safety stock level keeping for all material types based on demand and lead time.
- Monitor material availability to ensure no line interruption and escalate material shortage timely.

- Able to contemplate and act from production planning perspective for problem solving.

**Lean Manufacturing**:

- Utilize Poka-Yoke (Mistake Proofing), SMED & Standard work framework to corrective and containment action.
- Utilize 5S, 7-Wastes, Kaizen as a problem-solving tool.
- Understand the Kanban, Pull Production & Just-In-Time production logic and handling

**Project Management & Continuous Improvement**:

- Adapt JDI (Just-Do-It) & PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) as project initiative to tackle issue.

**Your Profile**
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management/ Mechanical/ Bio-Medical/ Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Diploma holder or equivalent: At least 5 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing system environment.
- Prior Manufacturing experience in medical devices industry is preferable.
- Familiar with ISO13485, cGMP and Computer Software Validation is a plus.
- Understand of supply and demand principle versus the capacity is preferable.
- Basic knowledge in SAP and MES is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication and intercultural skills.
