**What the role is**
- The Ministry of National Development (MND)’s operating environment is changing rapidly. Amid an evolving geopolitical and socioeconomic context which has reshaped the collective demands on infrastructure, the issues we face are increasingly complex and multi-faceted. To respond to these challenges, MND must evolve and reshape our organisation to be future ready.
MND is embarking on our transformation roadmap to create a stronger, more flexible, and adaptable organisation, an agile and nimble workforce, and a collaborative and joyful workplace. We are redesigning our workplace experience, to shape an empowering work environment with more opportunities for collaboration, use of new digital tools and technologies, as well as initiatives to support officers’ growth and well-being. We also seek to transform service delivery to citizens and businesses and support broader innovation efforts in partnership with our Statutory Boards.
**What you will be working on**
- You will be part of the Transformation Team within MND’s Corporate Development Division and report to the Deputy Director (Transformation).
Specific Job Responsibilities
You will:
- Lead a team shaping MND’s transformation roadmap, considering the evolving operating context for the Ministry and its Statutory Boards, industry best practices, organisation development strategies and design thinking.
- Drive employee engagement across various levels (i.e. senior/middle/staff), to engender greater involvement in MND’s transformation journey, distil data and insights to identify focus areas and develop stakeholder-centered solutions.
- Work with consultants and stakeholders to design MND’s future office space to be in line with changing infrastructure and workforce demands, while developing innovative solutions to improve the work environment.
**What we are looking for**
- We are looking for people who are naturally curious, comfortable with ambiguity, open to new ways of thinking and willing to push boundaries.
You should preferably possess:
- At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in policy/project management or the organisation transformation/innovation space.
- Strong team player with the ability to think strategically and analyse multiple sources of information to derive insights for strategy formulation.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills, as well as the ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders across various levels.
