As a Senior Assistant Director / Deputy Director, you have a sound foundation in accounting concepts and possesses sharp, analytical mind with an ability to get to the heart of an issue. **What you will be working on**

The Senior Assistant Director / Deputy Director oversees a team which is responsible for financial management and reporting activities, budget planning as well as supporting management in decision making by providing financial advice and insights on how to optimise financial resources to achieve IRAS’ corporate goals and transformation.

Key responsibilities:

- Preparing and publishing of IRAS’ annual financial statements in accordance with Statutory Board-Financial Reporting Standards
- Monitoring and reporting on IRAS’ financial results and financial performance indicators to senior management and Board
- Planning and management of IRAS’ budget to ensure optimal use of financial resources
- Performing data, scenario and sensitivity analysis to gain insights on the longer-term financial implications to support management decision making
- Performing cash-flow reconciliation, analysis and forecasting
- Reviewing corporate finance policies and initiatives

**What we are looking for**
- Preferably a background in Accounting
- Experienced in financial reporting and management, as well as preparation of financial statements
- Strong analytical and critical thinking, and ability to work well in a fast pace and dynamic environment
- Good supervisory, stakeholder management, networking, writing, and communication skills
