The Indirect Sourcing Manager, APAC for Leica Biosystems is responsible for managing the sourcing, negotiation and procurement of goods and services that are not directly involved in the production process. This role is pivotal for overseeing all indirect spend in all our APAC sites (manufacturing as well as sales offices) and driving cost efficiencies.

This position is part of the Global Indirect Sourcing Team located in either Singapore or Melbourne and will be on-site. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Manage the Indirect activities for APAC (excluding China) which include the following categories: Travel, Promotional and non-sales items, Consulting, Legal, I.T., software and general Sales support, Manufacturing Plant Indirect requirements
- Develop indirect sourcing strategies, data collection and analysis, Tender/ contract negotiations and execution, competitive biddings, etc
- Establish and maintain a supplier relationship with regular business reviews to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Work collaboratively in a matrix environment leading global, cross-functional teams
- Work with Country Managers and leadership team to achieve Country’s Indirect Sourcing Targets

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, finance or accounting
- 10 + years' sourcing experience in APAC environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English
- Hands on experiences in reviewing commercial contracts and agreements and helping countries to drive savings targets
- Strong decision-making ability to work within yet-to-be defined scopes and also help define strategy

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Experience with eProcurement/e-Sourcing Tools/e-bidding
