**Job Description
This regional position is an addition to the existing deugro break bulk & heavy lift chartering team in Asia. It entails for a large part the procurement of part
- and full charter ocean freight with multipurpose and heavy lift fitted tonnage, which is then concluded on a variety of different charter party contract formats. The multipurpose and heavy lift tonnage sector requires a dynamic approach that fosters the established relationships with our trusted partners, as well as constantly evolving our network and cultivating new relationships. The safe passage of cargo across the ocean always plays a major role in the overall transport

**Responsibilities and Tasks**
- Support in carrying out the daily full and part charter agreements with carriers on break bulk and heavy lift parcels.
- Assist in the managing of centralised purchasing as well as handling contact & relationship with ship owners and operators, in cooperation with worldwide deugro offices.
- Support the development of business relations with hitherto unknown ship owners & operators of all types and nationalities.
- Assist in handling and advising the sales prices internally and guiding operational matters post fixture.
- Tender bid responsibilities in cooperation with worldwide deugro offices.
- Support worldwide deugro offices to develop sales leads and follow up.
- Filing & completion of shipment details in the internal system.

**Job Requirements**
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills. Must have the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Good judgement and initiative.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Must work well across multiple levels in a fast-pace environment. Internally motivated.
- Meticulous.
- Knowledge in international shipping and chartering.
- Understanding of company strategy and products.
- Understanding of company rules and guidelines.
