Head of Sales

**Context of the role**:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Sales is responsible for developing and executing the company's sales strategy, generating and delivering their own pipeline as well as managing the global sales and sales operations teams. For the right individual this role can be fully remote (not in Singapore).
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Define and execute strategy**
- Analyse, develop and execute sales strategies for priority geographies, corridors and industries (e.g., commodities, chemicals)
- Create an account plan for each target network / client with path clear to success
- Track and report progress, resolving blockers and driving any necessary changes through the organisation.
**Define sales process for client engagement**
- Define processes and tools to automate the majority of sales in order to achieve massive scale.
- Measure efficiency of sales team and processes, continually optimising as we learn
**Create and Manage Sales Channels**
- Develop processes to aid member banks to resell internally and externally to other banks and corporates
- Create software sales / partner channels to enable greater scale
- Maintain confidentiality between different channel partners especially for corporate info
**Administration**
- Own the sales reporting function, providing regular reports to Exco
- Implement and track commission plans within the team
**Manage Teams**
- Management of the sales and sales operations teams - driving efficiency and collaboration
- Establish a global resource strategy to maximise budget utilisation
**Define Marketing Requirements**
- Collaborate with the marketing team to define and produce sales and marketing collateral (e.g., sales decks, digital content, events, campaigns)
- Deep knowledge of the trade finance industry, its products, key players and market drivers
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and generating long term customer engagement
- Minimally 10 years in B2B sales enterprise software, especially to banks and large corporates
- At least 5 years of experience leading sales preferably within a start-up environment
- An individual that has strong written and verbal communications
