Position Description
- Work closely and collaboratively with local sales team to meet or exceed sales target, expand existing business, identify and develop new business and opportunities.
- Provide product presentations, demos, troubleshooting and technical training to customers.
- Drive and support strategic partnership and collaborations through workshops, seminars and exhibitions.
- Provide technical training to the sales team to increase knowledge and effectiveness.
- Supports other specialists and team working with general representatives to develop tactical plans to maximize revenues.
- Fosters QIAGEN’ s sample-to-insight offering and develops workflow sales from sample isolation down to data analysis and interpretation in the field of Genomics research.
- Maintains and develops relationships with key customers and references. Increases customer satisfaction. Develops new business opportunities in biomedical research labs, pharma & biotech.
- Works closely together with local and regional marketing managers to provide market feedback and to contribute to country action plans. Works with regional teams to align actions and leverage synergies to exceed sales targets.

Position Requirements
- Bachelor, Masters or Ph.D in Biotechnology, Biology, Molecular Biology or related studies.
- Knowledge of Molecular Diagnostics and/or Life Science markets with strong technical capabilities. Strong verbal (oral and written) and presentation skills required.
- A combination of expert troubleshooting and interpersonal skills are the keys to success in this position.
- Knowledge of Life Science and/or Molecular Diagnostics markets with strong technical capabilities.
- Fluent English and additional language skills would be a plus.
