We are looking for a HR Business Partner to join the HR team supporting the E3/E3A/TLab Cluster of research institutes in the National University of Singapore, which currently comprises - Centre for Hydrogen Innovations (CHI), Mechanobiology Institute (MBI), NUS Environmental Research Institute (NERI), Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS), Singapore Nuclear Research and Safety Initiative (SNRSI), and Temasek Laboratories. **Duties and Responsibilities**
- Partner and support the research institutes’ heads/managers to manage, in a proactive and consultative approach, a full spectrum of HR functions which includes talent acquisition and appointment matters, performance appraisal and management, as well as talent management and development
- Responsible for effective onboarding and offboarding activities
- Assist in implementation of new policies and benefit programmes, and ensure changes to HR policies and procedures are administered and communicated timely to staff
- Contact point for employee relations issues - assess the situation and provide advice to business units
- Multi-task and be on top of daily operational tasks to ensure smooth delivery of services
- Make decisions within areas of responsibilities
- Brainstorm ideas for process improvement and translate them into plans and actions
- Assist in process review projects and participate in other projects as assigned

**Job Requirements**
- At least 4 to 5 years’ experience as a HR Business Partner
- University degree, preferably with additional specialist qualification in Human Resource Management
- Possess good command of written and spoken English
- Demonstrable business and HR acumen, and ability to drive HR solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to relate well with people at all levels and good service orientation
- Able to multi-task well with clear follow-through
- Competent in Microsoft Office tools, with strong numerical and analytical skills
- Resourceful and self-driven with a high degree of professional integrity
- Meticulous and demonstrable experience with HR metrics
- Good knowledge of labour legislations and HR best practices
- A team-player and keen learner with a positive attitude and “can-do” mindset
