The QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple restaurant locations, ensuring the efficient, profitable, and smooth running of the business. This role requires leadership in driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and meeting financial targets, while also maintaining a focus on team development, quality control, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Operational Oversight**:Oversee the daily operations of multiple QSR locations, ensuring high standards of service, quality, and cleanliness.
Implement and enforce operational processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and consistency across all locations.
Monitor and maintain operational controls, including food quality, inventory, cash handling, and equipment maintenance.
Address any operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions and ensure customer satisfaction.
- **Team Leadership & Development**:Lead, mentor, and support restaurant managers and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Provide training and development opportunities to ensure employees are equipped to meet company standards and career growth objectives.
Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high levels of employee engagement and retention.
- **Customer Experience**:Monitor customer satisfaction and implement strategies to improve the overall guest experience.
Ensure that all service standards are met, including speed of service, quality of food, and cleanliness of the restaurant.
Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, turning challenges into opportunities for improvement.
- **Financial Management**:Achieve operational financial targets, including sales, costs, and profitability, by monitoring budgets and financial performance.
Oversee inventory management to minimize waste and optimize food cost control.
Monitor labor costs and scheduling to ensure staffing levels are appropriate and efficient.
Review and analyze financial reports and make data-driven decisions to improve restaurant performance.
- **Compliance & Safety**:Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Perform regular audits and inspections of restaurant operations to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure all employees are trained in health and safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- **Marketing & Promotions**:Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute local promotions and initiatives that drive traffic and sales.
Ensure that new products, services, or menu changes are introduced effectively across locations.
Monitor competition and market trends to recommend opportunities for innovation or improvement.
- **Reporting & Administration**:Provide regular updates to senior management on performance metrics, including sales, labor, customer satisfaction, and employee performance.
Assist in the recruitment process and ensure proper staffing levels in all locations.
Maintain accurate records of operational activities, employee performance, inventory, and financial reports.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role within the QSR or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- In-depth knowledge of QSR operations, food safety regulations, and financial controls.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A degree or certification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
**Work Environment**:
- This position may require occasional travel between restaurant locations.
- Flexible hours are required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the operational needs of the restaurants.
