**General Purpose & Scope of the Job Position**

Our company is looking for a Senior JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Solution Architect that provides strategic planning and technology leadership in the analysis, selection of ERP development tools, maintenance of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne technology layer; as well as overseeing disaster recovery plans, network improvement plans, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs.

**Key Responsibilities & Deliverables**
- Lead and direct the daily activities of the JD Edwards ERP development work with external vendors and collaborate with internal resources/stakeholders to achieve the specific project goals and business objectives
- Lead and direct the daily activities of the external vendor CNC teams and collaborate with internal resources/stakeholders to achieve the specific project goals and business objectives
- Define, establish, and enforce development standards, guidelines, tools, and processes to ensure consistency and quality across development and CNC related projects
- Ensure the external vendor team is proficient with the software development tools required to build and support current and future projects
- CNC administration, security setup, and support for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne on an AS400 platform
- Manage disaster recovery plans, network improvement plans, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs relative to the computer network and communications systems overall health.
- Maintain system backup and recovery processes, and test disaster recovery plans as related to JD Edwards and iSeries systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to JDE EnterpriseOne, Citrix and JDE web servers.

**Position Requirements & Key Abilities**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, management information systems, engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in JD Edwards development in increasingly challenging assignments along with minimum of 5 years’ experience with CNC Administration, DB2/400, UDB databases, TCP/IP, Windows, and OS/400 operating system
- Advanced hands-on knowledge of Microsoft, Cisco, VMWare, and Citrix family of products.
- Advanced hands-on knowledge with desktop and file server operating systems.
- Ability to identify and recommend improvements based on observed trends
