**About this role**
The role holder leads and is ultimately accountable for all aspects of client engagement; including Business Development, Sales, Service Delivery, Service Operations, Engineering Design, P&L and Commercial negotiations.
They will be responsible for the development one of the company’s key Global Banking clients. This is the most senior client facing role in the business and is responsible for the full life cycle of engagement with a client.
The role holder will also be responsible for managing and growing the relationship into new areas of opportunity for BT. He/She will have full accountability of the P&L including risk and compliance and associated governance.
**You'll have the following responsibilities**
- The absolute point of contact for the customer
- Full Business and P&L accountability. Including revenue & cash assurance, cost control (resource, BT product and 3rd parties); management of risk & compliance and all other business management activities.
- Manages senior client relationships up to Board to ensure long term profitable business with high levels of customer satisfaction. Networks senior BT, Client and Partner leadership as appropriate. Accountable for defining and executing BT’s strategy in respect to a client.
- Delivery of all contract obligations, improving NPS and client satisfaction, oversight of transition, design, pricing, project/ programme delivery, service assurance & transformation.
- Drives all Business Development and Sales activity, from tactical opportunities to evolution of clients’ future digital strategy and develops commercial proposals. Seeks innovative ways to expand the business.
- Leads large direct and indirect team, across many career disciplines (Sales/ Delivery/ Service/ Operations / Business Management/ Legal/ Procurement/ Finance/billing etc.) including third parties.
- Leads commercial negotiations with the client for RFPs, disputes, savings guarantees, contract renewal, supplier negotiations etc.
- Contributes to the LOB strategy and transformation, representing collective voice of our customers.
- Coaching and developing the next generation of Client Partners.
- Building the BT brand in the market and developing their personal external brand as a business leader and opinion former.
**You'll have the following skills & experience**
- Managing relationships with large clients, and evidence of quickly building and maintaining relationships at the most senior levels.
- Operational experience, including running transformations.
- Experience of being an advisor to senior client executives.

- Sales leadership experience showing demonstrable growth in Rev, EBITDA and ICV/ICGM
- A varied career with a combination of experience in leading major programmes, business development or management consulting, underpinned by rounded general management experience.
- Creative, innovative and a strategic thinker, Capable of shaping and leading a clients thinking.
- Business and commercial skills including detailed understanding of P&L and forecasting
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience in managing relationship at an Executive level
- Lead and drive complex sales cycles to successful completion
- At least 5 years in knowledge and experience in Financial Services
- Ability to own and manage large complex accounts
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of managing global operations / delivery environments
- Ability to set technical direction of strategies
- Knowledge and good understanding in Contact Centre, Cloud, Cyber Security, Network and Collaboration technologies
- Knowledge of the APAC, Africa markets
