Overview*
- The role of the Patient Service Associate is to support the operations of the various Surgical Outpatient Clinics in Alexandra Hospital providing excellent front-line services to patients at each service touch point. _

Job Responsibilities*

You will be responsible for the following**:

- _Prepare the daily appointment lists for the various rooms / subspecialty clinics; _
- _Verify patient’s details and register patient’s visits in the system; _
- _Ensure that reminder calls / SMS are sent to the patients one day before the scheduled outpatient appointments; _
- _Assist in booking appointments for patients and accommodate requests / changes to their appointments; _
- _Collect payment for services rendered to the patient during his outpatient visit to the clinic; _
- _List the patients for surgery and provide information to patients with regards to the estimated costs of the surgical procedures; _
- _Close follow-up on pre-admission requirements for the surgery; _
- _Advise patients on pre
- and post-surgery preparations; _
- _Assist the doctors during consultations and relay instructions to the patients; _
- _Ensure that the queue system during clinic operation is managed well; _
- _Ensure the readiness of the room for each clinic session; _
- _Prepare and assist the patients for physical examination and minor procedures; _
- _Complete the necessary administrative requirements for the surgery such as signing of consent form and financial counselling form; _
- _Handle patient feedback and conduct complete investigations as required; _
- _Perform any other administrative and operational roles tasked by the clinic executive or manager. _

Requirements*
- _Good communication skills. Ability to speak a second language will be an advantage. _
- _Good customer service skills. Prior experience in hospitality or service industries will be an advantaged _
- _Good coordinating and organizing skills _
- _Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment _
- _Proficient in Microsoft Office, Knowledge of SAP will be an advantage _
- _Be comfortable with working in hospital setting _
