Singapore Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) Full time

**What the role is**
- In support of HTX’s mission of exponentially impacting Singapore’s safety and security, HTX has established its Innovation Centre (Hatch) to accelerate the identification and acceleration of innovations for public safety and security.
As part of the centre’s operational team, you will perform an important role to grow the centre’s capabilities and programs to scout and curate start-up technologies globally for Home Team problem owners, and to promote collaborations that accelerate innovations at the operational front-line.

**What you will be working on**
- As a Manager, you will report to the Senior Manager to:

- Foster strategic partnerships with domestic and global partners (such as local and overseas public agencies, research institutes, institutes of higher learning (IHLs), venture capital firms, accelerators, start-ups etc), to promote the centre’s programs and objectives.
- Establish meaningful relationships and engagement platforms, to effectively engage internal stakeholders (i.e. problem owners) across the Home Team on their challenge areas, and share the opportunities identified by the Centre.
- Develop collaboration proposals (i.e. scope, schedule, budget) with internal and external stakeholders for eventual approval, and for subsequent implementation;
- Support the Senior Manager to monitor and track the progress of our portfolio of innovation projects to promote successful translation into operational implementation. Projects range from inception (ideation) to delivery, which includes providing the Centre’s inputs on aspects such as project scoping (such as for proof of concept projects), development plan, operational outcomes, agreements and introducing the appropriate consultants and stakeholders at suitable junctures.
- Contribute to the corporate branding for Hatch, including content creation for websites, social media, marketing materials, corporate decks, and publicity, etc.

**What we are looking for**
- Job Requirements:

- Up to 2 years of working experience, and at least a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate technical, innovation or business-related discipline,
- Possess project management knowledge and experience,
- Possess a deep and demonstratable interest in community and partnership building, events, business development and in technology innovation.
- Action-oriented and self-motivated, and comfortable with ambiguity in a quickly-evolving environment.
- It will be advantageous if you have relevant experience in an entrepreneurial situation (such as entrepreneurship clubs, or startup founder.)
- Excellent inter-personal skills, effective in relationship building.
- Excellent written, and verbal communication skills.

All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
