Human Resources Assistant

As FDM continues to rapidly expand its business operations in Asia Pacific; we are seeking for a Human Resources Assistant who can demonstrate the potential to build a successful career in HR.
The role provides HR support for the APAC region, including maintaining records, answering or referring HR related inquiries, processing employee data such as new hires, generating employment letters, maintaining immigration files and functioning as the liaison with immigration and payroll vendors.
**Responsibilities**
- Manage day to day HR operations matters such as pre-board, onboard new hires and employee exits.
- Maintain and update personal employee documentation and systems
- Process employment status changes or updates
- Be the first point of contact for employees to answer their queries in a proactive and engaging manner; Assist in responding and resolving queries, escalating issues to the respective party as required
- Undertake pre-screening checks for new starters
- Generate reports or data requests for internal team, clients and vendors
- Assist with MOM Surveys
- Assist with performance reviews
- Interacting with the trainees and consultants, conducting inductions, briefings and employee events
- Ensure data integrity by performing regular system housekeeping
- Undertake any other ad-hoc project-based work
**Essential Criteria**
- Educated to Degree level
- Proven ability to appropriately handle sensitive information required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated, collaborative and strong focus on service delivery, quality and efficiency
- Ability to prioritize
- Strong attention to detail and quick turn around
- Passion for Diversity and Inclusion
- Technically proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Eligible to work in Singapore
**Preferred Criteria**
- Ideally a Chinese speaker
- Experience of SuccessFactors system and Salesforce preferred
