**What the role is**
- The Rehabilitation and Protection Group (RPG) undertakes the statutory functions in the rehabilitation of adult and youth offenders, and the protection of children, families and vulnerable adults (VAs). Our mission is to empower individuals and families to break cycles of abuse, neglect and offending. As part of the RPG family, the Adult Protective Service (APS) is a statutory service that leads in the policies and processes to safeguard the safety and well-being of individuals, families and vulnerable adults experiencing violence, abuse or neglect.

**What you will be working on**
- As a Senior Assistant Director, your role is to work closely with government agencies, social service providers and other relevant stakeholders to oversee APS’ data strategy. You will need to organise, analyse and deploy data to inform decision-making, improve service delivery and propose forward looking strategies for effectiveness. You will also lead a team to develop and implement a Family Violence (FV) database to track and consolidate key data relating to FV that can be used for research and analysis. You will need to engage stakeholders to identify opportunities to drive the planning and development of the FV database. Responsibilities: - Drive the planning and development of FV database - Engage stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage data in addressing problem statements and business needs - Develop strategies to ensure that good quality data is securely and seamlessly shared within FV database - Lead team in managing FV database development, manage system risks, ensure business continuity, and recommend system improvements - Collaborate with system vendors to develop and implement FV database - Propose and drive change management activities to onboard FV database users - Plan for future phases of FV database development and resource acquisition. This could include tender management - Be part of the FV team in driving project management and providing holistic support to key stakeholders - Oversee drafting of the FV trend study report based on relevant data

**What we are looking for**
- Degree/ Masters in Economics, Data Analytics, Data Science or Mathematics - At least 4 years of experience in Data and IT system management - Experience in leading teams to consistently achieve results - Experience taking on project leadership and steering the implementation of programmes and services. - Team leader with critical and logical thinking capability to manage a multi-disciplinary team; be able to be a team player - Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills - Strong aptitude in relating to different stakeholders and achieving win-win outcomes - Meticulous and able to work under tight deadlines - Demonstrates a mindset of learning, and is able to coach and mentor others - Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills
