**Overview**:
As a Strategic PMO Manager, you will oversee all aspects of executing technology strategy in the Product & Engineering department, which includes engaging with senior leadership, implementing strategic roadmaps for a large technology project, and ensuring successful project delivery.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Planning**:Conduct quarterly planning across product, engineering, quality, and delivery to determine project targets and plans to meet those goals. Balance business background with sufficient technical knowledge to provide strategic recommendations to technology teams.
- **Stakeholder engagement**:Work with Technical Project Managers, delivery leaders, and Heads of functions to communicate and uncover systemic and strategic risks and issues and develop solutions jointly to ensure project timeframe and quality is on track. Scope includes facilitating steering committee meetings with executives and business stakeholders on the program's progress, risks, issues, and requirements.
- **Project monitoring and reporting & Risk management**:Work with Technical Project Managers, Engineering Leadership to report overall status on progress, risk, issues, dependencies, and conduct forecasting at a strategic level for business stakeholders to make decisions and take corrective action where needed to deliver project objectives on time.

**Skills Required**:

- Experience working with C-suite level executive stakeholders
- Demonstrate leadership in a heavily matrixed organisation
- Experience in Agile and SAFe project management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management to explain strategic issues
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project completion
- Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget
- Copes effectively with complexity and change, especially in a start-up environment

**Qualifications Required**:

- B.Sc Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, Economics or the equivalent
- Minimum 7 years experience working in large, cross-functional, IT-related projects
- Certified Associate in Project Management or a Certified Project Management Professional preferred
