PMO, Site Strategic Program

- **Purpose**_

This role is responsible for providing project management support to a critical site project linked to a key strategic business investment in GSK Vaccines. This role will support the Strategic Program Lead to ensure that the project will be delivered within scope, on time and within budget. Risk identification, resource management, project execution and ensuring alignment of all stakeholders are key foci of this role.

Due to the transversal nature of the strategic project, this role must engage all stakeholders, both local and global (above-site) functions who contribute to the success of the project. An effective interface and synergy with the local project management office is absolutely necessary to enable the site to deliver on both project and site priorities.
- **Key Responsibilities**_

**Portfolio Management & Prioritization**
- Create and maintain an overall project plan that covers all workstreams identified in the strategic program
- Lead prioritization workshops with all function/ department/ site leadership team to ensure alignment of priorities, scope and resources at each level.
- Ensure alignment of priorities, scope and resources with Site Leadership Team so that other key site priorities are included into the site project portfolio
- Identify emerging risks and issues; propose re-prioritization, remediation or escalation. Provide direction for prioritization & risks mitigation
- Prepare for and act as the secretary of the project steering committee meetings
- Attends individual workstream meetings that feed into the overall project to ensure alignment to meet program goals

**Project Delivery**
- Manage the integration and follow up of all workstreams contributing to the strategic program
- Continuously anticipate and follow up potential priority changes and identifies emerging while assuring compliance with existing standards
- Maintains oversight on project scope, costs, schedule, resource, communications and risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Bringing all relevant facts & data to make appropriate decisions if needed
- Track project portfolio activity completion against baselines.

**Performance Management**
- Use Microsoft Project Online as the primary project management tool
- Develops, tracks and communicates metrics to ensure efforts and resource deployment are implemented effectively and in line with business goals, objectives and strategy
- Measure performance through defined KPIs
- Personally role models and develops the team towards high performance behaviors in line GSK Culture
- Ensure monthly comparison workload/capacity and facilitate any decision/action to ensure coher0ence and program sustainability.
- Provides reporting and escalation support to workstream leaders

**Coordination with Global**
- Be the Point of Contact (POC) with the above-site PMO managing the global project portfolio
- Be the back-up of the Site Strategic Program Lead for the GIO steerco meetings
- Provide requested information on time and with quality to global PMO team
- **Skills, Knowledge & Experience**_
- Degree in Science or Engineering field is preferred
- At least 8-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical/bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in related aspects of product transfers, quality operations, validations, engineering view on processes and familiar with regulation and industry standard
- Possesses Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Knowledge in PMO tools
- Experience in leading and managing projects
- Good knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Minitab, Microsoft Project Online, and Sharepoint
- Good interpersonal skills with proven track record of influencing senior leaders and stakeholders

To date, the site has played a key role in producing more than 800 million vaccines for pneumococcal diseases. Tuas has a workforce of more than 300 employees.
