Business Platforms PMO Manager

Responsibility for the commercials, quality and timeliness of projects within the APAC Technology Business Platforms Portfolio.
- Strategic Planning and Project Governance: Define project criteria, assess projects against business goals and determine cost-benefit ratio. Manage program for optimal return-on-investment.
- Define the project management methodology that will be used on a project, such as waterfall or an agile framework
- Best Practices: Standardise and consolidate best practices and processes across teams to manage and deliver projects.
- Common Practice Culture: Set common project management culture through communication, coaching and training on techniques, methodologies, and best practices. This includes ensuring accurate and timely timesheet entry as a key data point for program analysis and forecasting.
- Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources across projects based on priorities, schedules, budgets and more. This includes program capacity, utilisation forecasting and ensuring the program scheduling optimises use of resource availability.
- Create Project Archives, Tools and Templates: Provide administrative support and identify tool and platform requirements required within the Technology Team to support the efficient management of the Technology Portfolio, including but not limited to document storage, knowledge share, project management, time sheeting and collaboration platforms.
- Partner with global Platform Owners, market Service Line and Functional Executives and regional Business Platforms Leads to ensure that planning and priorities are joined up
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders.
- Work closely with delivery teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new projects. Help the teams do their jobs more effectively by streamlining process and bureaucracy, offering training, mentoring and quality assurance.
- Foster strong relationships throughout the APAC region and assist in raising the profile, and sharing the strategy of the Regional Business Platforms function

**Professional Skills**

What we’re looking for:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in PMO function, digital project management, resource management, operations and/or resource/traffic management or related roles.
- Experience working within a large, multi-layered, cross-regional organisation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
- Strong analytical and digital presentation skills, and the ability to present with confidence in front of senior executives and broader teams
- Demonstrated success working with complex business platform programs of work or similar in the Technology domain.
- Strong business and commercial acumen, and excellent negotiation skills with executive level stakeholders to lead to shared outcomes.
