**Job Description**:
**Team Summary**

This role will sit on the Global Workforce Planning & Analytics team and will be primarily supporting Asia Pacific but will also be involved in global projects. The Global Workforce Planning & Analytics team is comprised of 30+ team members responsible for driving data-based decision making on Visa’s most important asset, our People. The team is involved in optimizing data & infrastructure, enabling key stakeholders with data, tools, and insights, and planning for future headcount needs.

**What an Associate, Workforce Planning & Analytics does at Visa**:

- Provide support to AP Workforce Planning Lead on driving operational aspects of workforce planning and headcount management across AP
- People/ HR Insights: conduct impactful analyses on major employee trends, including organization shape, attrition, hiring, promotions, diversity data etc
- Partner with leaders across the region to take action on their workforce plan in support of organizational goals
- Execute changes to positions and ensuring there is alignment across key stakeholders to position changes
- Support scenario planning and helping the organization understand implications of workforce decisions
- Around 50% of time will be spent on operational aspects of Workforce Planning and around 50% on reporting and analysis

**Qualifications**:
**What you will need**:

- 3-5 years relevant work experience within Workforce Planning and/or HR Analytics
- A strong understanding of People/HR processes in an organization (including, but not limited to: Workforce Planning, Attrition, Inclusion and Diversity, Role Movements, Training, Talent Acquisition, Performance, etc)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated analytical rigor
- Advanced Excel: Ability to manipulate large unstructured data sets and Excel tools such as pivot tables, vlookup, charts, INDEX, MATCH, trends and forecasting etc
- Proficient in powerpoint to Create impactful presentations and possess strong story-boarding abilities
- Analytical, takes a structured approach to problem-solving and is able to ‘connect the dots’

**What will also help**:

- Experience with reports from enterprise human resource information systems like Workday (preferable), SmartRecruiters
- Experience communicating technical results to technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of statistical analysis (e.g., descriptive statistics and knowledge of statistical significance), quantitative research, and experience gathering and interpreting data
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive people data
- Experience collaborating with others to deliver analysis and reports, along with relaying feedback to improve systems and processes (working with IT, HR Systems, People Business Partners, Finance etc.)
