**Job Overview**

The Chief Financial Officer is a member of the senior leadership team at Andaman Medical. They are required to direct and oversee activities and projects related to Finance and other identified departments at Andaman Medical.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the Finance Department, budget preparation and audit functions
- Drive the company’s optimal financial planning including forecasts, budget vs actual and adjustments
- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the company’s operations
- Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
- Understand, monitor and ensure legislative/tax compliance across all offices
- Work with and oversee additional key departments (including HR and IT) and make recommendations
- Perform risk management by analyzing the company’s liabilities and investments
- Supervise senior finance and other relevant department personnel
- Manage financial relationships with clients, vendors and relevant government departments
- Recommend investment strategies considering cash and liquidity risks
- Control and evaluate the company’s revenue and capital structure
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legislation in countries with AM operations
- Conducts analysis to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing or elimination
- Identifies opportunities for expansion or improvement

**Qualifications**:

- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- MSc/MBA is a strong advantage
- CPA in associated country/location is a strong advantage

**Key Competencies**:

- Proven minimum of 8 years experience in finance including roles such as CFO, Finance Officer or similar
- In depth knowledge of company financial law and risk management practices
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g Xero)
- Ability to strategise and solve problems
- Strong leadership, people management and organisational skills
- Professional working proficiency in English including written and verbal communication
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
