Formative Search is partnering up with a renewable energy company. They are planning to grow their team in Singapore and are looking for a Commercial Lead who will join them in the journey towards net zero. The Commercial Lead will be responsible for driving growth in revenue and closing deals with both buyers and sellers and actively building a sales pipeline. This role will support their customers to identify the right products and solutions to achieve their sustainability goals.

**What will the Commercial Lead do**:

- Responsible for the acquisition of new customers and managing a portfolio of existing customers and building strong, trusted relationships
- Drive revenue growth, aligned to the company’s target
- Identify new trading/revenue opportunities and appeal to new network of buyers
- Origination, structuring and execution of proposals and commercial deals for origination and spot procurements for various carbon credit commodities from various credit providers

**How will the Commercial Lead look like**:

- Experience in business and partnership development, sales, broker role or B2B sales in the Commodity/Financial markets; with a strong track record of sales, origination, and relationship management
- Experience in buy and/or sell-side of carbon credit market advantageous
- Knowledge of carbon markets, corporate sustainability and with understanding of market dynamics in the carbon market
- Entrepreneurial and commercial mindset; comfortable in start-up environment
- Strong Sales Excellence mindset with drive to exceed targets
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong passion in sustainability
