About us
Aeqon, a subsidiary of DeClout, is the preferred information, telecommunications and security infrastructure provider in Southeast Asia, in particular in the Indochina region.
Aeqon is principally focused on the distribution of high quality wired-line and wireless cable products, IoT gadgets, design and build solutions for data centres and the provision of security and telecommunications systems. It is also a major neutral hosting player in the region for cellular and wi-fi networks
The role
The incumbent is responsible for achieving sales targets and margins, be involved from initiation to completion of sales cycles, maintain a high level of client engagement and identify development potential in existing accounts. Good customer management, strong communication skills and being willing to work in a team are key to the success of this role.
Key accountabilities
Manage the sales cycle and bring on-board new customers
Manage and grow allocated existing accounts
Working with Pre-Sales, Project and Post sales team to craft winning technical and commercial proposal for Tenders and Projects submission
Manage and mitigate the risks in tenders and contracts
Update of opportunities and projects implementation progress and provide routine updates to Management
Build and maintain professional networks with vendors
Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products
Skills & experience
Preferably a Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Engineering / IT
At least 3-5 years of relevant job experience in similar fields
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple complex projects
Strong leadership, managerial and interpersonal skills
Advance analytical and problem solving abilities
Good customer management and communication skills
Good collaboration skills
Outspoken and people orientated
Driven, self-motivated and ability to work independently
Resilient and persistent
Preferred
Experience in at least 2 of the following domains; network infrastructure, data centre network, un-interrupted Power Supply, clean energy (PV and BESS), Integrated Security Management System
Basic experience in cloud infrastructure or data analytics solutions will be an added advantage.
