Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and act as a consultant for engineering projects, offering problem-solving solutions and advice.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory policies, procedures, and regulations by reviewing and maintaining organizational policies.
- Oversee and manage all operations and maintenance plans, ensuring alignment with the organizational strategy.
- Lead and manage a team of senior engineers/technicians to ensure efficient business operations.
- Proactively interact with stakeholders and take the lead in resolving issues, effectively communicating information in a clear and concise manner.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures, ensuring their proper execution.
- Plan and supervise repair and installation activities across facilities.
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of all facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to ensure the proper functioning of all facilities and equipment.
- Develop and manage facility budgets, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost-saving.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and implement appropriate measures.
- Optimize space allocation, oversee office relocations, and coordinate renovations or remodeling projects.
- Implement sustainable practices and energy-saving measures to minimize environmental impact.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans, conduct drills, and ensure readiness for emergencies or crises.
- Lead and manage a team of facilities staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
- Collaborate with internal departments, external stakeholders, and senior management to address facilities-related needs and ensure effective communication.
Job Requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, transdisciplinary, and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to project locations.
- Proven experience as a maintenance manager or in a similar managerial role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of experience in leading a team.
