Reporting either to the Singapore Chief Operating Officer or Head of Grocery and Redmart, you will be responsible for:

- Owning and managing the P&L and GMV growth for one of the commercial categories in Lazada Singapore (Electronics, Health & Beauty, Groceries, Mother & Babies, Fashion, General Merchandise and Digital Goods)
- Grow the Category and defining strategy, identifying new opportunities, adapting and executing initiatives and sharing best practices within the category teams.

Ensuring implementation of the strategy by driving the team on the ground in Singapore (defining deliverables, setting targets, working closely with relevant stakeholders)
- Drive, develop, manage and execute the Seller Acquisition and Brand/Seller Strategies

Identifying and developing projects to enhance customer experience for your category
- Lead the team through bottom up plans building the category with strategic thinking, strong rational and analysis of historical performance

Ensure alignment between commercial, marketing, retail and logistics to offer the best possible representation and service to Lazada customers.
- Establish and manage key seller relationships, locally and internationally, to ensure optimum speed, quality and terms of business, championing brand development and acquisition.
- Create and curate a commercial and desirable product offering that positions us as main destination, ensuring alignment with our customer profiles
- Effectively lead, coach and inspire a team of sub-category managers - ensuring they have clear direction, are motivated and being consistently developed and up-skilled.
- Comprehensive understanding of global trends, how this translates over time to product and our markets.

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor degree from a reputable institution
- Min 5 years in a senior level position in consulting, e-commerce or retail.
- Solid commercial acumen with a proven ability to craft and execute strategies
- Experienced in managing multi-brands/large seller community
- Strong negotiator and good at relationship management (both internally and externally), navigating high paced & complex environments successfully
- Strong people leadership skills
- Hands-on, extremely pragmatic and entrepreneurial.
