**Job Summary**:
The Buyer / Planner will be responsible for the planning and purchasing of items to support the delivery of product to the customer at the highest quality and lowest possible total cost.

The role has a key focus in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the data held in the ERP system, helping to maintain optimal inventory levels at all times.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for purchasing materials for all assigned customers.
- Work closely with Customer Service to regularly acquire all forecast / information to facilitate material planning.
- Analyse information and plan for material purchase.
- Monitor and expedite supplier deliveries to meet customers’ demand.
- Update all deliveries status in the system.
- Control freight cost in from oversea suppliers.
- Regular meeting and communicating with Customer Service to understand customers forecast / demand.
- Monitor / control overall inventories at an optimum level.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel for incoming good receiving and stock movement.
- Maintain data integrity and settings in MDS system.
- Undertake Ad-hoc duties as required in line with the company’s growth directions.
- Efficient in MS Office.
- Communications and negotiation skills with good business sense.
- Knowledge on procurement and sourcing processes
- Experience in mechanical hardware fastener e.g., screw, bolts, nuts, fittings and good knowledge of supplier base in Asia region.

**Education, Experience & Qualifications**:

- Qualification and experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain.
