As a Buyer for Process Automation business, you will be responsible for initiating purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring and tracking supplier performance to purchase order requirements. Reporting to Planning & Fulfillment Manager, you will be purchasing materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensuring purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. This position is based in Singapore.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Identifying new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team. Qualifying new suppliers in cooperation with supplier quality and engineering specialists
- Reviewing supplier invoices and resolving issues with accounts payable
- Tracking goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensuring invoice processing. Processing inbound delivery note in SAP system
- Overseeing supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time), and resolves performance issues.
- Supporting the creation and update of ERP (SAP) records including material master, item vendor relationship (IVR), purchasing info record (PIR), source list, etc
- Conducting all procurement and logistics activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures. Ensuring SAP Ariba and pro-supply global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in policies and procedures
- Collaborating with material planners, demand planners and contracted suppliers to close demand and supply gap

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years’ of purchasing experience, knowledge and experience in S&OP will be added advantage
- Strong attention to details, possessing a team working aptitude and interested in preventing errors and solving problems
- Proficient in SAP and MS excel
- Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written
