The Senior / Assistant Manager is responsible for the procurement of Furniture & Equipment (F&E) for Support Operations in relation to the planning and development of theIntegrated General Hospital (IGH). Post procurement, the Senior / Assistant Manager will then be part of the team in running the services within IGH.

Reporting to the Senior Assistant Director, the Senior/Assistant Manager will be responsible for the following:
**Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)**

1) Strategic Procurement
- Work closely with user departments on information gathering in preparation for the procurement of F&E.
- Ensure end to end procurement processes are in compliance with procurement policy.
- Responsible for facilitating strategic sourcing projects for services and non-medical supplies categories.
- Establish contracts on time to ensure continuous supply of product and services.
- Driven by MMD, to be the procurement co-lead to guide the evaluation committee to

evaluate goods and services proposal from vendors, suppliers and contractor of services.
- Collaborate with MMD to add value through proper negotiation, product standardising or innovative ways of sourcing.

**Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)**

2) BAU
- Ensure proper documentation and records to facilitate and validate key activities throughout procurement stages.
- Prepare papers for management approval.
- Perform support activities such as maintaining in-house contract database.
- Perform all other tasks and duties as directed by Reporting Officer.

**Requirements**:

- Recognised Degree, preference in finance or procurement / project management
- Required Competencies and Capabilities (Skills, Experiences and Professional Licences)
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Project management with experience in calling RFPs/Tenders
- Organised and highly meticulous
- Resourceful with high level of initiative
- Team-player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and work within deadlines
