**Supply Chain Analyst**

Mercantile is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Analyst for our global operations. You will play a crucial role in optimizing the supply chain operations to ensure efficient and effective flow of mobile devices from suppliers to customers. You will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and making recommendations to improve supply chain processes, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, demand planning, and production, to optimize supply chain performance and achieve business objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to supply chain operations, including demand forecasting, inventory levels, supplier performance, transportation costs, and order fulfillment. Use data analytics tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in the supply chain processes.

Supply Chain Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to optimize supply chain operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve lead times, reduce stockouts, and minimize excess inventory. Make recommendations for process improvements, system enhancements, and automation opportunities to optimize supply chain performance.

Supplier Management: Collaborate with procurement team to evaluate and manage supplier performance, including supplier selection, qualification, and performance measurement. Monitor supplier performance metrics, identify areas of improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any supply chain issues, such as delays, quality issues, or capacity constraints.

Demand Planning: Collaborate with demand planning team to develop accurate demand forecasts, considering market trends, customer requirements, and historical data. Analyze demand patterns and trends to identify potential risks or opportunities, and provide recommendations for adjustments to production plans, inventory levels, and transportation plans.

Logistics Management: Collaborate with logistics team to optimize transportation and distribution operations. Analyze transportation costs, transit times, and service levels to identify opportunities for improvement. Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of mobile devices.

Reporting and Performance Measurement: Develop and generate regular reports on supply chain performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fill rate, inventory turns, on-time delivery, and transportation costs. Analyze data and trends to measure supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, preferably in the mobile devices industry.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Solid understanding of supply chain concepts, including demand planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in supply chain analytics tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
- Knowledge of mobile devices and their supply chain processes, and familiarity with industry trends and best practices.
- Ability to adapt to changing business requirements and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements.
