SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Senior Director, Global Operations will provide global coordination of all Maxeon’s manufacturing plant and work closely with Plant GMs and Director of Operations/ Engineering in transforming and running operations efforts. The incumbent will streamline execution at the manufacturing plants, standardize progress, support transformation and mentor plant leadership. He/She will also implement, oversee, and guide Maxeon’s continuous improvement initiatives using industry tools targeted at that purpose, such as LEAN Six Sigma, with a focus on achieving strategic goals and targets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned): To provide strategic operational input and leadership to all Maxeon manufacturing plants with the aim to standardize progress and streamline execution in the plants To work closely with the Plant GMs and Director of Operations/ Engineering in the Maxeon manufacturing plants ensure best practices are shared and implemented globally Initial focus: to transform the Business - move from the current state to an innovative transformational future state (Manufacturing 4.0 and beyond). To focus on value streams and how to significantly increase the flow while improving quality, removing waste and moving to meeting customer request dates. In sustaining mode: to execute and the feedback or governance model for daily execution at a high performance level resulting in working to Takt and being focused on daily improvements and attention to detail. Responsible for Key Performance Indicators reporting for all manufacturing plants Defines the steps for Plant and workplace design. Standardize NPI execution across factories NPI - AQP (New Product Introduction-Advance Quality Planning) / FMEA - CP (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
- Control Plan) Develop OpEx Transformation road map - I4.0 Factory Continuous improvement & Lean Six Sigma in coordination with Lean Six Sigma Teams. Oversee People Development at manufacturing plants: Leadership Skills Management Skills Change Management Core Competency Cross Competency

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent. More than 10 years of management progression and more than 5 years of Senior leadership experience in a high-volume 24x7 manufacturing environment. Knowledge of industry trends, benchmarking and world-class metrics in manufacturing processes. Able to maintain a vision/ strategy-driven organization to execute and achieve operational goals. Proven ability to lead in a manufacturing team environment with financial responsibility Strong ‘presence’ as a leader - the sort of person who others naturally listen & look up to Energetic to drive and perseverance to make a difference
