The Global Human Resources Director will be responsible to provide strategic HR Direction on all functions of human resources including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits and performance management. S/he will also be responsible for overseeing the implementation of efficient HR services delivery and HR policies in line with global best HR practices and the organization’s mission and vision strategy.Strategic Responsibilities:
Provide strategic HR direction to the organization and all its affiliate offices, with the implementation of effective and efficient HR strategies.
Develop HR plans and strategies for recruitment, training & development, performance evaluation, compensation, benefits, health and safety and employee relations.
Develop monitoring mechanisms to ensure adherence to policies and localized legal standards.
Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.

**Core Responsibilities**:
Work closely with Senior Leadership to understand the organization’s goals, mission and vision strategy to develop or amend HR functional strategies.
Monitor and ensure the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Develop and implement the departmental budget as well as extend support to the grant-making teams and Grant Management Office, as needed.
Facilitate professional development, training, and organizational development activities through designing and directing training programs.
Act as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with relevant regulatory authorities; ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required. Anticipate and resolve litigation risks.
Conduct internal research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the human resource system for in-depth understanding for better organizational sustainability
Present Global Human Resources (GHR) performance at IRD Global quarterly board meetings and HR updates/analysis of all offices to HRC more frequently, as needed.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:
Supervise HR personnel at the Global level; provide support and guidance to affiliate HR offices including payroll processing/approval for Global Employees.
Review staffing plans and job descriptions.
Ensure appropriate maintenance of HR records for Global and affiliate offices.

Any other task assigned by the line manager.

The minimum required qualification is Masters in Human Resource Management.

Minimum 12-15 years of overall experience in a multi-country setting and at least 5 years in a similar capacity is preferred.
