**What a Manufacturing Associate Engineer does at HP**:

- Active management of Contract Manufacturer (CM) Factory change Management & communication, Spares budgeting, purchase and availability.
- Provide remote and on-site technical guidance to CM during HP/CM project implementation and production issue troubleshooting.
- Increase CM production line tooling and operation efficiency through process and tooling improvement projects.
- Plan, execute and deliver HP new tooling project at CM factories.
- Initiate, enable and deliver Smart RPA/visualisation & Sustainability projects at IIC Supplies office and CM factories, steer production lines and crews towards industrial 4/0 expectation.
- Assist Engineers in rocess related development and SKU qualification and MR.
- Manage Contract Manufacturers Performance in manufacturing HP Printer Cartridges.
- Support Production ramp and improve Ink Supplies capacity and maturity.
- Support NPI team in the development of future product extensions.
- Support Engineer in DFX/VE (Design for Manufacturing & Value Engineering) projects.

**Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess**:

- Diploma or higher in Engineering, Computer Science & Data Analytics.
- 1 Year relevant technical experience and Sound Technical knowledge and understanding of production operation flow.
- Motivated in process development and analytics work.
- Strong interest in RPA development through UI-path, Power Automate or other automation tools.
- Possess Can-do and growth mindset.
- Comfortable to Travel to CM factories in Johor Malaysia 20% of the time.
- Good communication and excellent inter-personal skills.
- Possess strong teamwork and ability to collaborate at cross site/function team.
