Lazard’s Private Capital Advisory group (“PCA”) is a 70+ person global team with (i) a business that manages the raising of primary capital for Private Equity funds and (ii) a Capital Solutions business that advises Private Equity managers / investors on secondary transactions.
- Primary fundraisings: _PCA is mandated by fund managers globally to raise capital from the institutional investor

market for the fund manager’s investment vehicle.
- Secondary / Capital Solutions Advisory: _PCA is mandated by investors seeking to exit their illiquid investments in active investment funds and by GPs on fund restructurings and direct placements.

Analysts can expect to be exposed to a mix of advisory / investment banking activity (origination, due diligence, strategic and financial advice, execution, etc.) as well as capital markets functions (sales, distribution, etc.).

PCA is seeking to hire an Analyst to join the team based in Singapore. This person will play an important role as a Transaction Management team member alongside senior bankers supporting deal management activities for Asia-based clients. Analysts are involved in all activities of the group, usually for multiple clients simultaneously, each of which likely at a different phase of the transaction. The position will be based in Singapore and may require periodic travel.

Analysts’ specific duties include:

- Preparing presentation materials and pitches for prospective clients;
- Meeting prospective clients with senior bankers and analysing financial and qualitative information in order to assist in the group’s due diligence investigations prior to signing-up a new mandate;
- Assisting in the positioning of the client’s investment strategy and the preparation of marketing materials, including private placement memoranda, investor presentations and due diligence materials;
- Designing and co-ordinating capital raising/secondary transaction activities and international road shows;
- Communicating regularly with Lazard’s institutional investor coverage professionals;
- Assisting in preparing responses to investor due diligence requests; andMaintaining a database of investor commentary, feedback and interest in ongoing transactions.
- Academic excellence - minimum 2.1 university degree classification (or equivalent);
- Minimum 6 - 12 months of relevant work experience (Investment Banking, Consulting or similar);
- Excellent interpersonal, communications and relationship-building skills with colleagues and clients at all levels;
- Strong written communication skills, excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy;
- Ability to work well in a team;
- Good analytical skills;
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel & Word; and
- Must maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct.
