Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for a social media manager to engage with Digital Plus’s client base which primarily operate in the video games and esports space to develop and execute effective social media strategies and campaigns across various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and more.

As our social media manager, you'll be responsible for developing and leveraging the brand voice of our clients and connecting with their fans through your passion and expertise in their products and games. You'll be challenged with creating copy that resonates with diverse audiences and regularly reviewing data to analyse and optimize social performance.

Oversee the running of Digital Plus’s social media accounts

Build and execute social media content strategies and publishing calendars. Develop a consistent brand voice across multiple platforms and projects.

Monitor and engage with users on all social media channels in a timely manner - including curating, crafting, posting, scheduling, measuring, analyzing, responding, listening, engaging and experimenting

Support and maintain a content publishing calendar with consistently high quality and cadence. Monitor social media trends and platform changes.

Filming & editing video content when needed

Visual asset design/creation and image content creation including editing of banners, images, landing pages, EDMs, etc.

Creating paid social media campaigns for advertising and monitoring metrics to determine return of investment

Communicate directly with clients for approval workflows and urgent publishing requests.

Experience and Skills Needed

BA or BS from an accredited university or equivalent experience in the gaming industry.

Able to shoot and edit photos and videos

Proficient in Adobe suite of products such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Illustrator, Photoshop etc...

Knowledge of SEO and Social Media will be added advantage

English fluency. Mandarin is a plus.

Familiarity with global gaming markets and gaming trends.

A passion for gaming and social media

Strong communication ability to work with teams and clients.

Ability to engage and create conversations with communities in the gaming space.

Experienced with social media publishing and analytics tools. (eg. Buffer, Socialbakers, Sproutsocial etc.)

Ability to work on weekends during major events (OIL will be provided).
