**Reporting to the VP, People as a Senior HR Generalist, you will;**:

- Be a trusted people advisor to our team enabling the business and our teams to succeed in meeting company and development objectives.
- Roll up your sleeves to execute a full range of People & Culture initiatives across the employee life cycle from onboarding, wellness, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, inclusion, career development and employee recognition.
- Be the learning and development champion across Phrasee, from on-boarding, on-going learning and executive development.
- Partner with vendors to ensure our development initiatives are best in class.
- Maintain knowledge, trends, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, best practices, and serves as advocate for our employees, providing them with appropriate information as needed.
- Answer day-to-day queries from employees and managers regarding benefits, payroll, HRIS (HiBob), immigration, policies and procedures, and leaves of absence.
- Design, implement, and oversee day-to-day and ongoing immigration, relocation, and internal assignment transfers/processes.
- Assist leadership in developing talent strategies that are scale and sustainable and especially in a hybrid / flexible work environment.

**You have**:

- Minimum of 6 years relevant work experience in HR ideally in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
- A passion for employee development implementing long term sustainable people programs.
- Solid working knowledge of major People & Culture disciplines, including: diversity, equity & inclusion, total rewards, payroll, learning and development, talent acquisition, human resources systems, employee and labor relations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coach, influence, and partner with various levels of leaders and employees.
- Ability to flex across long-term strategic thinking and day-to-day detailed tasks, and deliver projects with an emphasis on employee experience.
- Ability to embrace change: can thrive and create your own structure in a fluid work environment.
- Passion for building culture and strong cross-functional relationships with a global, distributed team.
