We are hiring for a Sales Operations Principal Analyst to support the growing Sales Strategy & Planning function business partnering with the Sales SVP, Pac Rim. The Pac Rim region comprises China, HK, Taiwan & Korea. It is a growing market for MDB, along with the key partnership of AliBaba.
We are growing the Strategy & Planning function right now, so this is a great opportunity for someone to join the team in the early stages to help set up the right structures and processes for future growth. We want to continuously support our sales organization with the best tools to do their job, so we will continue to evolve & build for scale. For example, in the past year we have transformed the Partner Sales Commissions and Reporting process. The new process is scalable and automated resulting in driving accuracy and mitigating manual work.The Sales Strategy & Planning team is part of the Sales Operations group.
**Responsibilities**:
**The role has dual responsibilities**
1.This person will be a business partner to the Sales VP of North Pacific Rim
- Responsible for territory management & quota setting for the region
- Responsible for ensuring the leadership in the region has access to the right data
- Supporting the forecast for the region
- Ensuring accurate commissions are paid out to the team
- Providing hands-on support during QBRs
- Move away from manual processes, setup new commissions and reporting processes automating for scale
- Drive cross functional communication when collaborating on projects that span multiple departments e.g Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Operations, CRM.
- Suggest and implement process improvements that allow the team to work more efficiently and collaboratively
**Requirements**:
- Demonstrates a high level of accountability married with a huge sense of urgency
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
- Ability to work independently with a desire to 'own' what you do
- 5+ years of tech industry experience (ideally B2B software)
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, changing environment Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desirable
- Experience presenting & communicating data-driven insights to senior stakeholders
- Previous experience with Salesforce is highly desirable
- Great relationship builder and able to connect with people across the organization
- Team player who can work with individuals from different backgrounds across the entire organization
- Strong communicator (spoken and written)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot problems creatively and complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- Expands a team's bandwidth by integrating themselves quickly and assessing issues that serve as barriers to operating at maximum effectiveness
