Assistant - Welfare (Mws Girls' Residence)

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Attend to residents’ daily needs
- Provide basic first aid to the residents and attend to their medical needs and health care in hostel (where applicable)
- Assist to accompany residents to the polyclinic/clinic when required
- Motivate and encourage residents to participate in programmes
- Sign residents in and out of MWS GR and conduct bag and body checks daily, including the monitoring of the movement card
- Supervision and support towards residents in these areas (not limited to these):

- Ensuring residents follow the hostel rules
- Ensuring communal duties are duly carried out by the residents
- Ensuring that residents are disciplined to keep their living areas neat and tidy
- Bringing the residents out and guiding them to purchase items (when needed), for the resident conducted activities and/or family bonding activities
- Liaise with external agencies, families, volunteers and vendors in a professional and timely manner
- Assist the Head in ensuring that core duties given are carried out according to requirements
- Maintain a high level of competency in awareness of SOPs and follow guidelines closely and professionally
- Ensure a smooth process in the daily routine of the hostel during shifts
- Keep proper documentation of records and ensure smooth handover of duties
- Undertake basic administrative duties and reporting duties
- Attend and participate in monthly staff meetings, operations meetings
**Qualifications**
- GCE 'N' / 'O' level or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years work experience with youth at risk or related field
- Able to multi - task
- Communicates clearly & effectively
- Attention to detail
- Able to work well in a team
- Must be willing to be coached and/or supervised
- Patient
- Leadership Skills
- Microsoft Office
- Fluent, read and able to write in English
- Monday to Sunday (shift work) with one off day per week:

- 1st shift: 7.15am to 3.15pm
- 2nd shift: 3.15pm to 11.15pm
- 3rd shift: 11.15pm to 7.15am

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $2,200.00 - $2,600.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
