Central Region, Singapore Methodist Welfare Services Full time $2,500 - $4,000 per year

Methodist Welfare Services (MWS) is all about empowering people to have life to the full.

We are a non-profit organisation serving people across all ethnicities and religions. We recognise that the people we serve may experience poverty in different ways – weak social support or fractured relationships, poor health, a sense of hopelessness, or a lack of means. We journey alongside them to uncover their inherent strengths, affirm them, and support them holistically towards a better life. While MWS' sphere of impact has expanded since our founding, our core spirit of social holiness remains unwavering.  Today, we serve over 16,000 beneficiaries, including children from disadvantaged backgrounds, youths at risk, families in distress, socially isolated seniors, and the chronically ill and destitute.

MWS Girls' Residence is a residential home, housing vulnerable children and youths referred by the Ministry of Social and Family Development or other Social Service Organisations. We aim to create transformation and positive changes in behaviour through a holistic and therapeutic framework.

The Welfare Assistant staff will be working with female residents, between the age 15 to 21, (in an institutional facility). You will be part of the Operations team and are required to work in shifts.

  • Ensure all records, documentations and correspondence are updated promptly and filed accordingly
