Security Executive

Duties & Responsibilities

Security & Safety
- Conducting regular checks on the premises, managing security deployments and to ensure strict compliance of security and safety instructions.
- Taking appropriate measures to update the Security Supervisors (SS) and the Security Officers (SO) and ensure that they comply with the deployment tasking and other relevant instructions.
- Assisting in the co-ordination with relevant regulatory authorities and agencies on matters pertaining to the security, safety and fire safety of The Club.
- Assisting the HOPSS in maintaining direct liaison with staff and members pertaining to security & safety, and feeding back information to the HOPSS when necessary.
- Managing the physical and electronic security systems and equipment
- Conducting security audits, threat/vulnerability assessments.
Organisation
- Liaising with other departments in the coordination and providing relevant support for club events.
- Conducting performance appraisals of CSO and SOs (in-house SOs only) as per The Club’s staff policy.
- Conducting interviews with prospective SOs to assess suitability for deployment at The Club.
- Perform flexi-hour duties as deemed necessary by HOPSS or as determined by needs of The Club - including after hours spot checks.
- Lead the workplace health & safety/risk management aspects for the security section.
Others
- Working with the departmental colleagues in processing purchase requisitions for security & safety related items.
- Keeping documented records of meetings, and training records and manuals.
- Managing and reviewing contracts and service agreements pertaining to the Section.
- Communicating with, and advising the Duty Managers and/or HODs in the absence of the HOPSS on issues pertaining to security and safety.
Job Requirements:

- Diploma in Security, PLRD Licensed SSS/CSO
- Organised and strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint
- Experienced in Security operations for hospitality sector

- Local Polytechnic Diploma (preferred)

- Security: 5 years (preferred)
