SMI hosts a wide range of Adult Courses and Certification - from WSQ Courses, Diploma and Workshops for both companies and individuals.
**Role Description**
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Unit Director (Adult Education Training) at Stag Match Institute.
We are looking for an experienced Director to control and oversee all business operations, sales, business growth, people and ventures. You will be one of the Top Management personal in the organisation and will be responsible for the overall success of the business.He/She must have a good track record of the his/her achievement
The goal is to ensure the company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short-term and long-term objectives and does not diverge from its strategic guidelines.
The Director will also be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing course development, collaborating with certified trainers, and ensuring the delivery of updated industry-relevant knowledge to trainees.
**Responsibilities**
Training BU head, you will oversee the successful Operation delivery and sales of our training programmes with our IHL and CET partners. You will manage operations and sales in three core areas: curriculum curation and development, manpower development & logistics management and Sales generation.
Key Responsibilities
**1. Curriculum Curation and Development**
- Working and coordinated with the Matter Subject expert to Craft, Curate and Develop Curriculum
- Ensure all training materials are up-to-date and aligns with SSG framework standards and collaboration with the Trainer and curriculum development.
- Design and customize training modules and materials to meet the specific needs for IHL and industry adults training
- Oversee the processing of curriculum accreditation and certification with relevant organizations and stalkholder.
- Oversee the distribution of training materials to trainers in a timely and organized manner.
- Vetting and Quality Assurance:
- Review existing training programmes and materials to ensure quality, relevance and consistency.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders, Partners, learners and incorporate improvements into the curriculum.
- Research and Development:
- Maintain a comprehensive database of training resources, lesson plans and guides for trainers.
- Work closely with the curriculum development team to ensure that updates are made based on feedback and the latest industry trends.
- Attend upgrading external courses/events to keep our resources abreast to new developments.
**2. Operation and Deploymen**t
- Recruitment and Management:
- Recruit skilled and experienced freelance trainers with expertise in delivering life skills training.
- Training and Development:
- Facilitate communication between the curriculum development and trainers, ensuring the curriculum is effectively designed delivered and any feedback for improvement is promptly addressed.
- Host detailed briefing sessions for trainers before the deployment of each project.
- Onboarding of new updates and upgrades to training resources to both teams.
Ensuring smooth running of day to day Training operation (including Recruitment and enrolment issues)
handling stakeholders and learners needs
Deployment and coordinating of Trainers
Organising Graduation Day
Assisting on learners job placement
**3. Sales**.
Plan, implement and manage online and offline marketing strategies to enhance the company’s position in the market
- Ensure effective updates and relevancy on the website, social media platforms and all marketing-related materials
- Manage the development and execution of marketing content and campaigns
- ensuring meeting of Sales target
- before and After sales
- organising information session to learners and provide professional consulting services to prospective learners to the point of enrolment.
- To act as the key liaison personnel for respective partners assigned, ensuring the team is up to date on any progress or updates pertaining to the institutions.
- To ensure targets or KPIs set are achieved or exceeded.
- Supporting the internal team in any other ad-hoc activities/tasks as and when required.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as Director or other managerial position
- CPE and SSG knowledge
- Experience in Adult Education Training and Course Development
- Strong Leadership and Management Skills to lead the team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
- Understanding of Education Regulations and Compliance
- Demonstrable experience in developing strategic business operation and business sales plans
