An excellent opportunity to join the Ampol Singapore team in an **FP&A Analyst** role. TThe FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst is a Business Partner to the Trading & Shipping team and is responsible for the analysis of financial data and presenting the analysis to management in a clear, concise manner to enable management to make strategic, informed decisions for the company. This role is based in Singapore and will also be the key point of contact and support for Trading & Shipping to Ampol Group F&I (Fuels and Infrastructure) Finance for any reporting requirements.

To give you an idea of what this role involves, you will accountable for the following outcomes:
**Performance Analysis and Reporting**
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly management reports for Trading & Shipping desks and presentation of monthly results/analysis to business managers
- Demonstrate a full understanding of the drivers of actuals, variances to forecast and budget by providing reliable and value adding reports with financial and non-financial metrics and insightful commentaries
- Assist in the monthly reconciliation and reporting of variances between trading marked-to-market profit/loss and accounting profit/loss
- Prepare monthly working capital reports and analysis
- Support Ampol Group F&I (Fuels and Infrastructure) Finance in the preparation of periodic reporting deliverables and commentaries

**Business Planning and Forecasting**
- Assist with monthly forecast for EBIT (gross margin and operating expenses) and working capital, including supporting Treasury Team for periodic cash forecast
- Assist with preparation of annual business plan (budgeting) in line with business initiatives/strategy and Group’s direction and guidelines
- Identify improvement opportunities in relation to forecasting and budgeting processes

**Continuous Improvement**
- Identify, initiate, manage and/or support improvement of financial systems and/or data quality, processes and reporting deliverables to meet business requirements and drive efficiencies within Finance
- Assist in the development of financial models and new management reports to enhance the quality of data and information across Trading & Shipping
