The FP&A Analyst is a newly created role within the broader Volition Finance team, reporting directly into the Head of FP&A. The main objective of the position is to closely support the Head of FP&A by taking responsibility for enhancing the planning, analysis and reporting for the division. You will assist in the continued development of the FP&A processes and be part of designing, coordinating and consolidation of the total company financial planning. In addition, you will take part in financial planning systems implementation, helping to drive efficiencies through automation and process improvements._

**Key responsibilities**
- Be involved in the preparation of the forecast and annual budget for the whole company
- Assist with data extraction, reconciliation and data integrity and accuracy for the Board pack and Business Unit reports
- Support with the preparation of monthly reports including commentary on variance analysis
- Develop financial models to support decision-making
- Analyze financial data and identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Focus on continuous improvement of the existing data, processes and systems in the FP&A function
- Assist with transition to FP&A software and integration with existing tools
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and support decision-making
- Perform Ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or related role, preferably experienced with annual planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for details and willingness to be hand-on
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels within the organization
- Experience with financial planning and analysis software and Salesforce will be highly beneficial
- Experience in a start-up environment will be a value-add
- Must be comfortable working with EMEA and US time zones
