Responsible for leading AMP APAC initiatives to optimize FG planning and inventories and prevent obsolescence and slow-moving inventory in APAC. Working very closely with the AMP Team Leads and AMP planners the role is responsible for setting up a process enabling, Markets, AMP APAC, and GSC Regional Team to identify and proactively address early network signals on both demand and supply sides potentially causing future inventory issues. In addition, the role is also responsible for regional inventory and write-off budgeting process, LE submission, and reporting the actuals to the Global Inventory Team.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Implement a process for proactive identity opportunities to mitigate and minimize overall supply & inventory costs (inventory holding, write-offs, lost sales) in the network
- Process vast quantities of data to provide deep insights into the customer, product, supply chain behaviors
Optimize the management of stock
Reduce the impact of product recalls and write-offs 4. enable stock transfers to improve the performance of slow-moving stock.
- Regional SME for the following processes: Projected Write Off process, SCA process, Inventory Budgeting, Inventory LE process
- Drive governance, adoption, enhancement, and development of Digitized Inventory tools in Supply IQ and Tableau
- Connect with the AMP Team Leads to provide forward-looking analytics to be reviewed as part of AMP Market / Plant S&OP processes
- Working with markets, AMP teams, and supplying sites quickly implement corrective and preventive actions that help the network to avoid unnecessary supply chain issues.
- Setting up the Regional inventory targets/budget and managing the quarterly LE submission process
- Drive continuous optimization of inventory and working capital
- Drive governance and processes to minimize inventory write-offs. Monitor and manage inventory shelf-life/expiry dates, and actively improve processes to avoid obsolescence write-offs
- Share accountability with AMP Team Lead to participate in regional forums with different stakeholders
- Work with Global Inventory Business Process Owner and Brand Supply Leads to drive FG inventory reduction initiative
- Drive annual TDOS reviews across all SKUs with AMP and Markets

**Organizational Relationships**
- Market Leader, Market Commercial/Finance/Regulatory, Enabling analysts, Enabling Team leads, AMP Team Lead, Regional Supply Chain Leads (as needed)

**Education**
- Tertiary Qualified in a Supply Chain / Data Science related role
- Sound knowledge of principles and strategy for Sales Forecasting / Demand and Supply Planning.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and analytical skills
- APICS training/ certification preferred
- Language requirement: English required

**Experience**

Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience required in Supply and inventory planning, in a complex international environment
- Highly skilled in supple network planning tools such as SAP APO SNP and reporting SAP Business Objectives, Tableau, and Data Analytics
- Good understanding of key inventory planning concepts such as safety stock and cycle stocks
- Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and end to end global product flows
- Proven track record in AMP supply & inventory planning
- Strong analytical skills are required - the ability to observe patterns and trends in data science and analytics, determine the root cause of issues, and draw proper conclusions from the analysis
- Interest and drive to optimize supply chains and deliver solutions creating end-to-end benefits to the network
- Ability to think longer-term and challenge the status quo
- Ability to influence decisions across different levels of the organization including senior leadership
- Ability to interact and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization, instilling trust and collaboration
- Ability to quickly grasp and understand complex situations involving many moving parts
- Expertise in Data Analytics and mining tools as well as Tableau and Microsoft Tools
- Ability to make good decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience, and judgment
- Ability to manage, track and drive resolution of complex issues as well as improvement initiatives in parallel
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate with team members
- Strong oral and written communication skills to present complex issues, providing an adequate level of information required at different levels and for different stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Ability to work in a complex matrix organization and within a multicultural environment, balancing the needs of different stakeholders including senior leadership
