**About the Job**:
We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer who will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and driving sustainable growth and profitability for the organization.

**The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for**:
**1. Financial Strategy and Planning**:

- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives and long-term goals.
- Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
- Evaluate and manage financial risks, ensuring the organization's financial resilience.

**2. Financial Reporting and Compliance**:

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and regulatory filings in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of financial reporting processes.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders regarding financial matters.

**3. Budgeting and Resource Allocation**:

- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to allocate resources effectively.
- Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize operational efficiency and profitability.

**4. Capital Management and Investment Strategy**:

- Manage the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, acquisitions, and partnerships to support business growth.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks associated with investment decisions.

**5. Cash Flow Management**:

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management.
- Monitor cash flow projections and ensure adequate funding for operational needs and capital expenditures.
- Implement policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks.

**6. Financial Operations and Control**:

- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure accuracy of financial records, and prevent fraud.
- Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Implement financial systems and technology solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

**7. Stakeholder Management**:

- Collaborate with executive management, board of directors, and other stakeholders to communicate financial performance and strategic initiatives.
- Provide financial insights and guidance to support decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, and financial institutions.

**8. Leadership and Team Development**:

- Provide leadership and direction to the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Promote a strong ethical and values-based culture within the finance function and across the organization.

**In this role, we are looking for someone with**:

- Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in financial management, with a track record of success in senior leadership roles.
- Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, with a focus on driving results, fostering innovation, and building high-performing teams.

**Good to have**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
