Assistant Manager, Communications

An Assistant Manager (Communications & Students) is required to support the School of Biological Sciences’ communication needs with emphasis on digital platform and social media.
**Responsibilities**:
- Build strong brand identity and image through communications about school’s research achievements, awards, student & alumni features and others
- Production of collaterals, online content, videos and other publicity materials
- Create and execute marketing campaign with focus on social media
- Increase engagement with students and alumni through events and initiatives
- Communication outreach to Alumni and support for alumni activities
- Communication support for Outreach and Open House activities
- Support official events, conferences, seminars, MOU signing, visitors etc.
- Student related activities as assigned
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Mass Communications, Business Administration or related field
- Experience in marketing communications and outreach, preferably in academic institution
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Knowledge of website design, social media and other communication tools
- Able to multi-task and work independently
- Able to collaborate and engage with people at different levels of the organization
