Job summary
The Specialist Engagement Manager (SEM), APJ will work for Strategic customers with account teams, specialist sales teams, and specialist solution architect teams to develop, track, and close transformative customer co-development.
Working with stakeholders such as CIO, CTO, & IT Directors design transformational business roadmaps for key accounts. Act as Global Subject Matter Expert (SME) Solutions engineer for security products, video processing and CDN.
Partner closely with the Service Teams and TFC to influence product strategy based on customer requirements and competitive product use cases and field experience. To Host internal enablement on release updates and knowledge share / training.
We are looking for a SEM with AWS Edge Services, Content Delivery Network (CDN), Perimeter Security (Web Application Firewall, DDoS, and so on), and Media Services Video Processing foe OTT delivery. Experience and deep understanding of partner ecosystems and multi-partner go-to-market solution.
Key job responsibilities
- Closely work with AWS Edge Services large/strategic customers.
- Orchestrate a near, mid, and long-term vision and strategy for the overall customer’s cloud transformation by collaborating with the customer and the AWS team
- Accelerate customer’s AWS Edge Services adoption through education and enablement.
- Capture customer’s business and technical requirement then help developing new features with AWS service team, then accelerate customer’s business.
- Develops opportunities and manages existing co-development progress with numerous customers concurrently & strategically.
- Exhibits proactive ability and expertise in setting customer discussions via AWS sales, AWS solution architect, AWS Industry Products, AWS Professional Services and AWS Partner teams.
- Engages in senior level customer meetings to discuss customer’s most transformative business challenges and opportunities and explores how co-development with AWS could unblock customer and industry success.
- Engages, supports and scales deployments of industry-specific solutions by identifying best practices and creating consistent playbooks.
- Prepare and run business reviews to Services General Managers and customer’s senior Executives.
- Be a thought leader across Amazon organizations to knowledge share success mechanisms, mentor junior tech resources, and impact industry trends.
- Experienced with deep business engagement with customers in one of the key Northeast Asian markets such as China, Japan or South Korea
- 5+ year’s sales management experience in Manufacturing and/or Media industry solutions sales
